Rob Ingram, Director

Rob joined the family business full-time after graduating from university in 2007. His enthusiasm and new ideas have helped drive the company forward. Rob sources our tiles, always with an eye on the latest trends.

Julie Ingram, Director

Julie joined Colin in the business in 2004 having previously worked in a local branch of a high street bank. Julie is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and loves helping customers choose their perfect tiles.

Colin Ingram, Founder

Colin created Devon Tiles in 2002 after many years working in the tile retail industry. He saw an opportunity to retail tiles differently and opened Devon Tiles in a warehouse unit on the Finnimore Trading Estate in Ottery St Mary.

Jon Ayshford

Jon works in our showroom, advising on tiles and helping our customers to make the right tile choices for their homes.

Will Harrison

Will works in our showroom and is on hand to help you choose your new tiles for your home and answer your tiling queries.

Nick Kennard

Nick supports us in the warehouse and carries out customer deliveries. He’s also our showroom tiler when we update our displays.

David Pearse

David works alongside Nick in the warehouse and also does customer deliveries where his local knowledge, having grown up here, is very useful!

The History

Devon Tiles was founded in 2002 by Colin Ingram, who had spent many years in the tile retail industry. Recognising an opportunity to offer a fresh approach to tile retailing, he established the business in a spacious warehouse unit on the Finnimore Trading Estate in Ottery St Mary. This larger space allowed for the creation of unique room sets, helping customers visualise how our tiles would look in their own homes.

In 2004, Julie Ingram joined the business, bringing her background in customer service from a local high street bank. With a passion for helping customers find their perfect tiles, Julie has played a key role in ensuring every customer enjoys a personalised shopping experience.

Rob Ingram became part of the family business full-time in 2007 after graduating from university. His fresh ideas and keen eye for emerging trends have helped shape the company’s tile selection, ensuring we always offer the latest styles and designs.

Today, Devon Tiles continues to thrive with a dedicated team. Jon Ayshford and Will Harrison are on hand in our showroom, offering expert advice to help customers choose the right tiles for their homes. Nick Kennard manages our warehouse, handles customer deliveries, and ensures our showroom displays stay up to date with the latest designs. David Pearse works alongside Nick, using his local knowledge to assist with deliveries and warehouse operations.
