Wood effect tiles have dominated the tile market in recent years and the trend seems set to continue. At Cersaie, the annual five-day exhibition of Italian ceramic tiles in Bologna, Italy last November wood effect was a major style that we saw across the show. In fact, all ranges that mimic natural materials like stone, marble, and wood are most definitely still on trend!
Our latest wood effect tile is Treverkstage from Italian tile manufacturer, Marazzi.
Treverkstage is a beautiful rustic-looking wood effect tile, with a wealth of flaws and other natural marks that make every board unique. The high degree of variation in both the patterning and the colours of its surfaces makes the tile look extremely realistic.

Why choose wood effect tiles over real wood? Wood effect tiles have many benefits but their greatest selling points are that they are extremely durable and are low maintenance. Advances in digital printing techniques have enabled allow tile manufacturers to create a finish that is extremely hard to distinguish from the real thing.
