2022 marks 40 years of Hospiscare, and to help celebrate this special anniversary, Hospiscare is launching the 40 Club. 40 local businesses, including us, have signed up to the club, and we’re aiming to collectively raise £40,000 to help Hospiscare continue its vital care.
As Devon Tiles and Bathrooms celebrates its 20th anniversary this year (more on that to follow), we felt it fitting to join the 40 Club and support Hospiscare in its 40th anniversary year.
We’ve pledged to raise at least £1,000, but we’re not stopping there. We’ve yet to decide how we’re going to achieve our target, but we’re sure it’ll involve Jon jumping out of a plane with a parachute attached to his back! So, keep an eye out here and on our Instagram and Facebook feeds to read about our fundraising efforts.
Hospiscare plays a vital role in the Devon community, supporting people with any terminal illness. The charity’s much-needed services include support at home, a specialist palliative care ward, out-patients clinics, and supportive therapies.
Hospiscare supports over 2,000 people each year and needs to raise around £8 million a year to continue to provide its care.
We’re fully committed to raising as much as we can for Hospiscare in 2022 and hope our customers will join in our challenge and support our efforts!
